Had to buy a digital version because I’ve already viewed the DVDs too many times. It is brilliant. Even though the technology may not be current the underlying problems remain the same. After watching all 5 seasons you can see how everything is intertwined. The problems aren’t just drugs. Or politics. Or media. They all play a pivotal role in Baltimore and many other cities across the nation. Don’t know if there is anything a solution because 15 years after the series previewed the same problems exist.

I’m a pretty newcomer to this show but I really love it. One of the best for sure. Every episode for sure first few are perfect. Love first 6 episodes. Great cast

.....this has to be one of the top 10 shows of all time West Wing being number one this series is amazing as well......watch it second season about the kids is so good.....The Wire should be in everyones library....i wish i could give this 10 stars

i WILL NEVER buy from Apple again! I downlaoded the show and now this little I means I can't watch it. I called APPLE and they have me talking to a machine. DOWNLOAD From Amazon, Google or Windows. Apple is unreliable. The Show is awesome!
